Charity Ball Donation

Due to the generosity from our Guvnors and Supporters at the 2018 Christmas Charity Ball we were recently able to make a charity donation of £5,000.00 to Waltham Forest Disability Resource Centre who provide a space where disabled adults from Waltham Forest and neighboring areas can learn new skills, and who promote independence and healthy living through various supported classes, activities and social events. Without this support the Centre would really struggle due to a lack of funding, so a big Thank you from us and them for all of your ongoing support.

100 golfers in 25 teams took part in the golf competition, which was played for most of the afternoon in brilliant sunshine, which obviously helped with the enthusiasm and enjoyment of the day. After the golf everybody enjoyed post golf drinks and a dinner in the evening followed by heads & tails, raffle and of course the main prize giving event.

The golf competition was won by a team from Phoenix, and James Pearce presented them with the new trophy, which they will keep for a year. Electracom & Kingspan were gallant runners up.

The day raised nearly £19,000 for charity, which will be spilt between The Children’s Magical Taxi Tour to Disneyland Paris, The Theodora Children’s Charity & Kidscape.
